The CHFA Industry Achievement Awards recognizes the best-of-the-best in the natural, organic, and wellness industry. Our awards range from celebrating successful teams, to highlighting emerging entrepreneurs – this is your chance to have your accomplishments recognized on a national scale.
The CHFA Industry Achievement Awards will be hosted at CHFA NOW Toronto on Saturday, September 17. Join us to celebrate excellence in the industry and spotlight our colleagues who have been recognized by their peers.

This Year’s Award Categories
CHFA John Holtmann Leadership Award
Named after an incredible leader in the natural products industry, this award is given to an individual who demonstrates passion and commitment, serves as an inspiration for others and has played a significant role within his/her company or in the wider industry.

The CHFA Industry Awards Council is made up of individuals who have 5+ years of industry experience – here’s who’s on it this year:

CHFA Brand Impact Award
This award is presented to a brand that has executed a best-in-class marketing campaign within the past 12-months. This may cover PR, out of home (OOH), digital, direct or integrated campaigns.
CHFA Award for Excellence in Sales
This award is presented to a sales representative who exemplifies leadership and exceptional service. Nominees must be employed by a CHFA Supplier member in good standing. A regional award, nominees must be based in Eastern Canada (ON/QC/NL/NS/NB/PE). The recipient is also presented with a monetary award.

Retail Innovation Award
(self-nominations encouraged)
This award is presented to a retailer that has demonstrated innovation and creativity in retail within the past 12-months. This may include original in-store design, best in class consumer experience for online or omnichannel shopping, or creativity in digital advertising or communications.

This award is presented to an individual working in retail sales who exemplifies leadership through outstanding customer service and product knowledge, merchandising skills and encouragement of suppliers in the health food industry. Nominees must be employed by a CHFA Retailer member in good standing. A regional award, nominees must be based in Eastern Canada (ON/QC/NL/NS/NB/PE). The recipient is also presented with a monetary award.

This award is presented to an individual who has demonstrated key initiatives and measurably contributed to a company’s success or impacted the natural health industry in Canada.
Agent of Change Award
The The Agent of Change Award acknowledges the presence of dedicated advocates and activists within our community. Presented to a CHFA Member company or individual that has made substantial contributions through their social justice advocacy work and who are champions of social justice and change.

The CHFA Industry Achievement Awards are a way for CHFA Members to recognize and celebrate achievement within our industry. Only members are eligible to nominate, vote and receive awards.
