The EventHub app by Microspec is the official show app for CHFA NOW Toronto. It’s your digital event guide and show planning tool where you can view the schedule, explore exhibitors, favourite events/exhibitors to plan your agenda, send messages to exhibitors and receive important event updates.

Yes. The app is free for all registered attendees and exhibitors.

Yes. You’ll need to be registered with an attendee or exhibitor badge for the event in order to access the app and experience all the features.

There are two ways you can access the app for CHFA NOW.

Option 1:

1. Download the app “EventHub” in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
2. Look for the welcome email from chfa@microspec.com with your EventHub app login ID. This will be sent to all show attendees and exhibitors starting September 1, 2026. If you register after September 1, you will receive the login information once your registration is approved.

Option 2:

Scan the EventHub App QR code on your CHFA NOW badge and enter the unique App Key/pass code found on your badge. Each attendee/exhibitor badge will have a unique App Key/pass code.

Retailers who pre-registered will receive their badge in the mail. Exhibitors and other badge types will receive their print at home badge by email. Badges can also be printed onsite. 

Yes, you can use the app on more than one device. However, only the last device you logged into will receive notifications.

Features for attendees include:

• Search exhibitors by categories, company name or booth number
• Explore exhibitor’s profiles for company, product and contact information
• Favourite products and exhibitors to look back on later
• View schedule and build your personalized agenda and purchase tickets to paid sessions
• Make notes on exhibitors, products and sessions for easy follow-up
• Chat with exhibitors and attendees using in-app messaging

The app is tied to your badge and you will automatically receive access to the sessions or events available to you.

You must purchase a conference pass to access the conference sessions on September 25. You can purchase a pass in the app! See instructions below.

CHFA Members: Free and automatically added to your badge. 

Non-Members: Go to the Schedule tab. Tap on a Conference Pass session and click the “Add to Registration” button. You will be directed to register for the conference pass and pay directly in the app. You can purchase the Conference Pass or any paid session at any time, even on the conference day. 

No. Adding a session to your agenda does not reserve a seat, so we recommend arriving early. The only exception is the keynote lunch session, where seating is reserved for ticket holders.

Attendees or exhibitors who downloaded the app and did not use a unique App Key/Pass Code will not have access to all the features. Enter your App Key sent to you by email from chfa@microspec.com to get the full experience.

Only attendees and exhibitors who registered and were approved for a badge will receive an App Key/Pass Code. Please register online and create an account to get access.

If you forgot pass code, use the pass code reset feature to get a new one by entering the email address you used to register for your badge.

Wayfinding is not currently supported, but attendees will be able to see the floorplan (coming soon) on the app. Our app provider, Microspec, is working on building this feature soon and we expect to have this available in 2027.

The app is only available in English at this time. This is the first show we’re introducing this app so features may be limited, but we’ll continue to capture feedback to improve it for future shows.

To receive important show updates, schedule changes and announcements, make sure notifications are enabled for EventHub in your device settings.

• Apple devices: Go to Settings > Notifications > EventHub, then turn on Allow Notifications.
• Android devices: Go to Settings > Notifications > App notifications > EventHub, then turn notifications on.

You can return to these settings at any time to change your notification preferences. Steps may vary slightly depending on your device.
